I did read somewhere that it could be condensation on the battery from being hot and sweaty when using it. I keep mine in an arm band...but that arm band does get soaked. Maybe that's what's causing it to shut down? Well, I'm on it. I'm going to test it out and see if I can figure this mystery out.

I absolutely love running in the rain! The harder the downpour the better :) I will throw on my shoes and do a few superfluous miles if I see rain coming our way! I was also out Friday when it let loose.

You should give it a try, at least once in a soaker. It's very peaceful and therapeutic.

Hi Kat,
Just came across your blog on a feed on the Charlevoix Marathon site. Long story short, I am from Michigan, live in England, and am coming home to run my first half marathon in Charlevoix on the 25th. LOVE your pictures of Michigan (makes me homesick), and your running/food experiences sound like where I am at right now. Great blog! Looking forward to reading more!
